A Blurred Christmas at the Fat Cat
The works Xmas do 2003, at the Fat Cat, Sheffield.

It's become an annual milestone for me - a scary moment when I realise all these people are here because of a silly idea I had in 1998.

The pic is a bit blurred, not sure why...

The Fat Cat
Weaving Urban Tapestries, London
A mobile game experiment in central London, with Kiely from Just-B.

The idea was to roam Bloomsbury with a WiFi enabled PDA or GPRS mobile and leave digital Post-It notes on a virtual map - the map then develops into a snail trail left behind by previous visitors. A bit let down by the strength of the WiFi signal, but a marvellous idea.

The pic is the projects temporary HQ, a disused building, oddly surrounded by swanky shops and bistros.

Urban Tapestries
Old Trafford, Manchester, UK PLC
In the car park at Old Trafford, Manchester, that for those who don't know, is home to Manchester United PLC.

The occasional trip to see Man U forms a sharp contrast to humdrum Hillsborough and the ups and downs (mainly downs) of SWFC, Estab. 1867. World class players, 67,000 people, and a seat reserved smack bang in the middle of the prawn sandwich seats, courtesy of my good friend, Mr Jones. Another beer, sir?
