Mother In Law Training
Appraisal trainin' in Rotherham - that's a small town in Sheffield, by the way.
Pictured is the trainer and all round entertainer, Jon Colman. This was just before his fifteen minutes of fame on ITV's 'Mother-in-Law Swap', swapping his place as the head of the family home with his mother. Not dissimilar to airing your smalls to a few million people.
Still, it didn't affect our views on your training skills, honest Jon.
Red Vanilla Learning by Playing
Taken in the lift leaving early from a Learning by Playing conference, held in the West Stand of Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club.
I seemed to be the only one at the event in abject awe of the surroundings! This was after all, home to Chelski, the richest football club in the solar system.
Discussion groups were held in the executive boxes overlooking the hallowed turf.
Learning by Playing Marks and Sparks and Kirsty
On the train from London, I met Kirsty, on her way to Chesterfield to meet her in-laws for the first time.
We talked about Marks and Sparks for most of the journey, as she was a marketing manager for M&S in the Channel Isles and I was thinking about using M&S branding as a design reference.
T'was mid conversation that the idea of a mobile picture diary was born. Thanks Kirsty, and I hope the in-laws liked you.
Marks & Sparks Curtis in the Clarence
Reading Hillman Curtis's MTIV book in the Clarence, Dublin, Ireland.
Relishing the setting, and feeling inspired by themes, inspirations and design processes, scribbling 'notes to self’ and to the DESQ team in the margins.
The Clarence is quite possibly my favourite place. We come here as often as we can, to breath a little. Rethink things. It’s never failed us so far.
