Came across There and Back Again Lane around the corner from the Graduate School of Education in Bristol.
A tiny lane, that's only maybe 100 yards long. A piece of English eccentricity, it is what it is.

I like sitting on the front row, which I’m sure for the acoustic purist isn’t the best choice. Getting front row seats is made easy by jazz being a minority sport.

Whilst my daughter Isobel spelt out her name in the Bonfire night air, I spent most of the evening talking excitedly about Animal Crossing to an old friend, who strangely wasn't bored to tears. In fact mine and Izzy’s obsession inspired my friend to buy a GameCube the next day.
Animal Crossing is almost not a game. For me, that's it's appeal. It’s relaxing not frenetic. It becomes a quirky alternative world, where you fish, pick fruit, run errands. No shooting, no competition.

Monopoly coffee business v. rather handy wireless hotspots. A friend won't cross the threshold of a Starbucks because of their wanton coffee imperialism - driving out independent cafés with a global revenue machine.
Trouble is, they provide a sure fire guarantee of a wireless hotspot.
