Camper Showers - following form and function?
Now we all know that good design is a happy blend of form and function. So whilst honeymooning in the Casa Camper hotel in Barcelona, I was faced with a number of design ideas, not least that we were in a hotel run by people who make shoes.
Amongst other design conventions that Camper have fiddled with, some successfully, some not (their website is purely for the style conscious) was the shower.
So, given the instructions (left), how would you turn the tap on?
A Majorcan folk festival transforms the tranquillity of a hilltop village into a sea of people in Christian or Moorish costumes; kids with wooden swords, girls in white dresses, face-painted burly blokes.
Something that, with our folk hang-ups, would never happen in Angleterre.
