In Espana with ex-pat friends, swimming, drinking, sleeping, drinking and amazingly, not thinking about work.
Using a pic I'd taken of our David in a sports-shop window, I tried to convince the kids I'd met him and had a photo to prove it. A dad joke, they didn’t laugh.

In the ever-reforming education world, there’s much talk about 'work-life balance'. Mine is somewhat dramatically weighed on the work side. I tend to take work home with me, including the people and pressure that would be best left at the office, for the sake of my sanity and my family. A bad side effect is taking running your own business too personally.
So, henceforth from today, a note to self, take work seriously, not personally.
