A Rubber Ball is My New Friend
My new rubber friend is helping me get back on the road to recovery from surgery (a microdiscsectomy, L5-S1 for those who like to know). Physiotherapy keeps up with science and commerce - new research means new devises, new practises.
Not like education then.

So there I was, still groggy from the anaesthetic after been under the neurosurgeon's finely sharpened blade. What did he listen to whilst inserting the knife, I enquired, assuming a little Bach or Chopin perhaps. Nope, Mark Lanegan and Isobel Campbell of all things. I wonder what brain surgeons listen to?
